Public building-permit data is valuable and difficult. Jurisdictions publish different schemas, statuses, dates, licenses, and update schedules. The work is not scraping a giant national list; it is maintaining a trustworthy normalization and alert layer market by market.
What we optimize for
Timely qualified opportunities saved or actioned—not raw permit count. Source health, classification confidence, alert reliability, correction rate, and customer outcomes matter more than a large crawl footprint.
What we will not build first
PermitProspect does not provide mass phone enrichment, personal-email enrichment, automated calling, bulk email, or unsupported “exclusive lead” claims. Those features create privacy, compliance, and reputation costs that do not improve source trust.
